So for instance; i have a cell with 01/Jan/2017 and I want to change the date in that cell to 02/Jan/2017 (not the cell underneath – I know about the drag function which will copy or increase the date in cells underneath). Ctrl+Shift+Down Arrow doesn't work because that will select all cells to the last row in the worksheet because all cells below the active cell are blank. Ctrl+Shift+End doesn't work because all cells to the end of the used range (cell E14) will be selected.
So, if there is another table of data in other columns on the sheet, it will not account for those columns in the search for the last used cell. That solution doesn’t work if you have multiple tables listed in the same column down the page.
The problem here is that the “Blank” cells may not actually be blank and may in fact contain hidden text such as where the cell in question contains a hidden text marker like as a single quote ‘ for left aligned text or contains a Caret or Circumflex for center aligned text or double quote “” for right aligned text. At first glance the cell appears to be empty but it in fact is not as this counts as the cell being “non empty”. A good workarount for this problem is to add a column to your data range and add in the formula =len('cell containing possible blanks') Which in the above example you could put the following formula (i.e the one above) into cell 'D2' and copy it down through 'D6' =len(D2) This will show 0 where the column is actually blank and the number of character (most likely one) when it appears to be blank but actually conatains a hidden character. Job done You can now handle “clean” empty cells and “dirty” empty cells. HI April Without seeing your spreadsheet, I think I have covered all the possibilities, that is to say Exclude blank cells, put in “” in criteria. Show only blank cells put “=” in criteria.
Applies To: Microsoft ® Excel ® for Windows 2010, 2013, and 2016. You are welcome to to practice. As you can see above, partial data has been removed leaving blank spaces in between the data. To delete the blank cells and move all other data up, follow these steps: 1. Highlight the cells with the data and blank cells in the worksheet. On the Home Ribbon, under the Editing tab, click on Find and Select, and then Go To Special from the drop-down list. Select Blanks and click OK.
Review the other design options. In the 'Table Style Options' section of the toolbar, check or uncheck any of the following boxes: Header Row - Checking this box places column names in the top cell of the data group. Uncheck this box to remove headers. Mar 22, 2017 Rows extend across the sheet so will be deleted from all columns. Do you want to remove blank cells in some columns but leave in others? In that case you would select just those columns and go through the steps.
If you have used Tables, but don't like the weird formulas, you can. Select a Table Column with the Mouse If you are more of a mouse user, there is also a shortcut to select the Table column with the mouse: • Hover the cursor over the top-half of the header cell until it turns into a down arrow. • Then left-click to select the data body range of the column.
If we hop down to the bottom of the list, there are a little more than 33,000 rows, which means we just deleted over 3000 empty rows! In a future tip, we'll show you how to use this same approach to remove non-blank rows with missing values. See you next time.
• Next, Click the “Options” button, and select “Values” from the “Look in” dropdown. Let the “Find What” textbox remain blank and click “Find All”.
See you next time.

Gimp for mac os. GIMP for macOS. Download GIMP 2.10.8 via BitTorrent Download GIMP 2.10.8 directly. The download links above will attempt to download GIMP from one of our trusted mirror servers. If the mirrors do not work or you would rather download directly from our server, you can get the direct download here. Supported OS: macOS 10.9 Mavericks or over. The GIMP community does not seem to care about OS X. But a version for OS X is available via MacPorts (www.macports.org).IMHO, wait until 2.10.2 will be released and stay with 2.8 until then - YMMV.
Using the loop through each cell method, it took 0.00092593 days. I also ran your code on the sample data, and it took a lot longer (I didn't let it finish). So far, the method below yields the quickest results, though I imagine someone will find a faster method. It appears that the delete method is the biggest bottleneck. It may be fastest to filter the non-blank cells and paste them into a new range, and then delete the old range once you're finished.
