Doing so can be a quick way to turn off your Mac without having to use the mouse, but you'll usually only need to force your Mac to shut down if your Mac freezes or stops working correctly. If you continue to have problems with your Mac after forcing it to shut down, you can try troubleshooting it to fix common issues.
Here you’ll find the option to disable the applications folder in the dock and the notification area in the menu bar. This is a matter of taste: some people will like the integrations, and some would prefer to head to the full Windows environment to access things like the tray icons. Happily it’s all up to you.
Is there anything else I can do to increase the display resolution/quality? Or has anyone tried this with bootcamp and had different results?

Like I mentioned earlier, there are some niggles here and there but, once everything is set up as you want, you'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference between your Mac and a traditional PC. If you want to switch back to OS X, you can easily do so by opening Boot Camp in Windows 10 and selecting the option to boot to OS X. Or you can press the Option/Alt key on your Mac keyboard right after the device powers on or reboots. It should be noted that the Apple drivers and software do not reveal anywhere near the same level of customisation as they do in OS X. To give you an idea of what I mean, you get lots more touchpad gestures under OS X than Windows 10. Also, battery life seems to be affected by the transition to Windows 10, as Microsoft's operating system and/or Apple's drivers are not well optimised for this scenario.
I've seen several posts about Windows 10 (and 8/8.1) scaling up on retina Macbooks, but none really outlining everything or answering my question directly. I've got a 13' retina Macbook Pro, running Windows 10 on Parallels. When I first installed, the resolution was set very low by default so I went to change it but noticed the highest resolution I can pick is 1920x1200. So my question is this: Should I be able to choose a higher resolution since my retina display is 2560x1600? I've set it to the highest available (1920x1200) and changed the 'text, app, and other items' size to 125% but it doesn't look as crisp as everything on the Mac side.
• Select one of the following from the Send system shortcuts menu: * Always: When Windows or Windows applications are active, function keys and other system shortcuts always trigger functions in Windows. * Never: Function keys and other system shortcuts always trigger functions in OS X. * On Condition or Auto: If you’re working with Windows, system shortcuts that don’t function in Windows (for example, Control-Up Arrow button to display Mission Control) trigger functions in OS X. If you’re using OS X as a guest OS and a guest OS or its application is active, system shortcuts that are typical only to OS X trigger functions in the guest version of OS X. This is simple, right?
• Option key while dragging: Copy the dragged item. The pointer changes while you drag the item. • Option-Command while dragging: Make an alias of the dragged item. The pointer changes while you drag the item. • Option-click a disclosure triangle: Open all folders within the selected folder. This works only when in list view.
This is exactly what happens when Boot Camp installation of Windows is to be activated under Parallels after Boot Camp activation - or vice versa. The 'hardware' - and thus the hardware ID - is changed, causing Windows to lose activation and Free Upgrade cannot be activated for two hardware configurations with different Hardware IDs.
